Visit the main cause of high blood pressure

The last Australian scientists have discovered a secret which is the main cause of high blood pressure after 40 years of effort to find, according to news Top News page.

Professor Brian Morris and colleagues at the University of Sydney have found a mysterious role of the enzyme renin in triggering the disease.
This is the first study of its kind to use human kidneys. It paved the way for drugs targeting more identifiable, which can transform the treatment of high blood pressure, a major risk factors for heart attack and stroke.
Mr. Morris, one of the leading genetic science of Australia, began studying renin as a young student in the early 70s of last century.
A young scientist, Dr. Francine Fellows Marques has conducted research in the laboratory under the supervision of Mr. Morris and discovered new issues of international importance.
While renin is believed to play a significant role in high blood pressure, but it works how to achieve this role is beyond the understanding of the research community for many years.
Mr. Morris's team has identified the crucial role of micro-RNA 2, new genetic material works to destabilize the production of renin from its gene.
Their study showed that in the kidneys of people with high blood pressure, renin activity more than 6 times while the micro-RNA activity less than 6 times.
"That's the bottom line. Two micro-RNA is much lower in people with high blood pressure. So, if you lose them, increased renin, which increases blood pressure, "said Morris explained.
"This is a totally new concept and very interesting. No person find anything like that on renin, "he commented.
The discovery of the role of micro-RNA 2 could pave the way for the preparation of medications for high blood pressure, which is designed in a "knock out the expression of renin at its source."
Research results are published in the Journal of Hypertension American Heart Association.
